My name is William Creighton. I am the 2023 Junior World Rally Champion and represent the Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy. This year I will compete in the World Rally Championship with M-Sport Ford.

 

I started Junior Rallying when I was 14, competing throughout Ireland & the UK. Following this, I progressed to the British Rally Championship in 2017, where I competed for a few years before winning the Junior British Championship. I then made the step to the World Rally Championship where I have competed the last 3 seasons. I am very much looking forward to working with M-Sport this season and continuing my relationship with the Ford brand. 

Rallying has brought me a lot of enjoyment and I have met many friends through the sport. From growing up on a farm I was always interested in driving, whether it was a quad or a tractor, I just wanted to drive it! Rallying is different to circuit racing in so much that you do not race wheel-to-wheel with your competitors, but instead you race against the clock and try to set the fastest stage times. This makes the sport quite unique as you can have great friendships even with your closest rivals!
