Caillin Joe is 15 years old and is from Creggan just outside Omagh in County Tyrone.  From a young age he had a very keen interest in music.  At just 10 years of age he made his first tv appearance on The Voice Kids UK, were he was chosen by Pixie Lott to be part of her team and he progressed onto the battle stages.

In 2021 when he sang The Gambler for BBC Radio Ulster at The Balmoral Show, he then posted a video of it up on his Facebook page and it went viral. To date it has over 3.3 million views and tens of thousands likes and shares. 

Following on from this post he got the opportunity to present and perform on a Christmas Special for RTE called ‘A Kids Country Christmas’.

In 2022 Caillin Joe was selected by TG4 to compete in Junior Eurovision Eíre were all the contestants had to speak and sing in Irish for a chance to represent Ireland in Junior Eurovision.  He was successful enough to make it as far as the semifinals of Junior Eurovision Eíre were he was the last boy in the competition.

The same year I can safely say was the highlight of his life so far and every Irish child’s dream. He got the opportunity to do a solo performance in front of Irelands biggest tv audience as he appeared on The Late Late Toy Show.

In 2023 this then led onto him being invited back to share the stage with the biggest names in the Irish country music scene for RTEs Late Late Country Special. Caillin Joe is very fortunate that he can say that he is the only person to perform on both Ryan Tubridys last Toy Show and Country Special.

On top of all of this, still at a young age he writes his own songs which are regularly played on Irelands top radio stations and he gigs regularly in front of large crowds all over Ireland.

Caillin Joe is very proud and honoured that he is the first child to represent Ireland Full 32.

He also looks forward to see what the future has to hold.
