Ryan is a TV & Radio Presenter, DJ, Author and Actor with a few strings to his bow.

2023 is an exciting year for Hand with the release of his debut novel ‘Stardust: Amazing Archie The Singing Sensation’, and his latest TV show ‘The Great Food Festival’ which airs on BBC One.

Hand’s career started in 2008 as a runner for BBC Northern Ireland, and today he enjoys a roving reporter role covering features for The One Show.

Ryan got his big break on Saturday night TV as a presenter on ITV’s Cannonball, alongside Freddie Flintoff, Frankie Bridge, Maya Jama & Radzi, after charming the audiences as the warm up act on ITV’s Loose Women.

Having amassed experience from all corners of the media industry, Ryan recently joined Q Radio in 2022 bringing bags of energy, charm, his quick wit and musical knowledge to the station.

From hosting game show Generation Frustration, to reporting at BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards and competing on ITV’s Ninja Warrior, Ryan is certainly well travelled. He even won Media Eye’s Rising Star award in 2019.

Hand’s acting credits include voice over and commercial work for Virgin Media, Kenwood, Kellogg’s, The National Lottery, and he’s enjoyed TV roles on E4’s Body Fixers, BBC’s The Fall and stage shows with The Ulster Orchestra.
